Ergodyne N-Ferno® 6828 FR Thermal Balaclava – Arc Rated
Stay warm and protected in cold-weather work environments with the Ergodyne N-Ferno® 6828 FR Thermal Balaclava. Constructed from soft, stretchable modacrylic fleece, this thermal face mask provides warmth and is designed for use in environments where arc-flash hazards may be present.
The flexible fabric provides a comfortable fit under helmets, hard hats, and other head protection while offering full coverage of the head and neck. The long-length design easily tucks into jackets for added protection from the cold, while reflective accents help increase visibility in low-light conditions.
The N-Ferno 6828 is arc rated with an ATPV of 10.6 cal/cm², meets the performance requirements of ASTM F1506 and EN 1149, and is classified as NFPA 70E CAT 2. One size fits most and can be worn alone or as part of a layered cold-weather work system.
