Designed for demanding electrical and industrial environments, this versatile FR multi-band provides coverage for the head and face while helping protect against arc flash hazards, sun, dust, and flying debris.
Made from FR Nomex® knit fabric, the 6486 is approved to NFPA 70E and meets the requirements of ASTM F1506 for arc-flash protection. With an EBT arc rating of 4.2 cal/cm² and PPE Category 1, it provides an additional layer of protection for workers exposed to electrical hazards.
The soft, stretchable, and seamless design can be worn in multiple configurations, including as a face covering, face mask, neck gaiter, headband, hat, do-rag, and more. Its low-profile design allows it to be comfortably worn under a hard hat without adding unnecessary bulk. Moisture-wicking technology helps move sweat away from the skin and promotes quick drying, while an anti-odor treatment helps maintain freshness throughout the workday.
